Pants/Shorts/Skirts:  
Pants, skirts, and shorts must be in good condition (no skin showing above the knee if you choose to wear ripped jeans). Pants shall be fitted so they stay on the waist with or without a belt – NO SAGGING. Shorts and skirts must be at least fingertip length. Undergarments should not be visible at any time. Sweatpants, leggings, and athletic shorts are allowed, as long as they are not red.  Pajama pants are not allowed and school issued PE shorts are not permitted outside of PE class.  
 
Shirts: 
T-shirts, Norwood T-shirts, or a collared shirt must be worn at all times. Shirts must have sleeves and cover the abdominal area. School issued PE shirts are not permitted outside of PE class, and red shirts are not permitted.
 
Shoes:  Shoes must be worn at all times. For safety reasons, covered shoes (meaning all parts of the foot are to be covered) should be worn at all times. Sandals, slides, shoes with a raised heel, flip flops, and slippers are not allowed. Crocs are allowed because the foot is fully covered.  Shoes may not be red.  No red shoelaces are allowed.
 
Hats/Caps/Makeup/Accessories:  Hats/beanies/sunglasses may not be worn inside any school buildings or classrooms. If worn outside during passing period/lunch, hats/caps must be worn facing forward. No bandanas are allowed on campus at any time. Face paint, stickers, excessive use of makeup, and use of markers or pens for body art is not allowed.
 
Facemasks:  Facemasks are not required at this time, however, students may choose to wear a facemask on campus.  If facemask requirements change in the future, students may be required to wear a facemask on school campus. 
 
No Red on Campus:  NO RED CLOTHING, including jackets, T-shirts, sweatshirts, pants/shorts, coats, sweaters, socks, hats, beanies, shoelaces, belts, accessories, etc. is allowed. This includes varieties of shades of red. This includes maroon and burgundy. NO RED BACKPACKS OR BAGS ARE ALLOWED ON CAMPUS. 
 
Students not wearing the proper dress code will need to call home for clothing or, with parent consent, will be sent home to change into the proper clothing.  If a student continues to violate the dress code policy, progressive discipline will take place. It is against our school dress code to advertise any drugs, alcohol or tobacco products or advocate use of such substances, for example the Cookies brand. 
 
ADMINISTRATION RESERVES THE RIGHT TO DECIDE THE APPROPRIATENESS OF A STUDENT’S ATTIRE, IN ADDITION TO THE DRESS CODE EXPECTATIONS LISTED ABOVE. PLEASE SEE THE TRUSD HANDBOOK FOR OUR DISTRICT DRESS CODE GUIDELINES
